I love this belly balm! This is my first pregnancy, and I’ve been really intentional about finding something natural that actually works—this checks all the boxes. It glides on so smoothly, absorbs quickly (without that greasy feeling), and leaves my skin feeling deeply moisturized for hours. I had been using oils before, but they just sat on my skin and took forever to soak in—this is a huge upgrade!
I also love that a little bit goes a long way, and the ingredients feel so nourishing. I started using it as a belly balm, but now I find myself reaching for it on dry hands and even my face on extra cold days. The large, black 4oz glass jar is such a nice bonus too! If you’re pregnant (or even if you’re not), this is a must-have.
And I have to mention how amazing Ela Skin’s customer service is! I had the silliest pregnancy blooper where I completely forgot where I placed my Belly Balm after opening the package. I searched everywhere for a week—high, low, inside cabinets, and even the outdoor trash cans (yes, I was that desperate to find it because I was so excited to use it!). Finally, I gave up and emailed Ela Skin, explaining my pregnancy forgetfulness and asking if they’d be willing to re-send my order (Mama Belly Balm + Baby Balm) as a kindness. Not only did they respond quickly, but they were also unbelievably sweet and actually shipped both items to me for free!
I was so touched by their generosity. Not only are their ingredients nourishing, clean, and transparent, but they are also such a compassionate and thoughtful company. If I could give 10 stars, I would! 💜
I love how moisturizing this belly balm is! I only got it near the end of my pregnancy when I already had stretch marks, so I wish I could have seen how well it would work at prevention, but it did a fantastic job of keeping my belly moisturized and helped with itchiness too! Since I’m no longer pregnant, I’ve been using the rest of the balm to help moisturize my hands and occasionally my face on super dry winter nights when my regular facial moisturizer just isn’t enough, and it works so well! And I also love that it comes in a large, 4oz glass jar!
Ok so I didn’t use the mama belly balm because it wasn’t launched yet, BUT I used ela skincare’s everything butter throughout my pregnancy and I did not have a single stretch mark!!! I also had a really itchy belly during pregnancy and this soothed it. I will be ordering this belly balm for my next pregnancy for sure.
I’m not even pregnant but I love this! The smell is lovely and the texture is perfect. It rubs on so smooth and my skin stays moisturized for a long time.
I have LOVED this. I’m in my second pregnancy and have wanted something like this belly balm for so long! I’ve tried every belly product you can think of and everything else either left me feeling like I needed more, or super oily and greasy. I love that it’s natural, is working to heal my skin and just a little bit goes a long way without making me feel oily!
